Celebrate the Love
It’s February and love is in the air! February is the month we celebrate two heart-centered events; Valentines Day on February 14, and Heart Month, all month long. At Collingwood, we also celebrate the love we have for our residents — we’re fortunate to have people from so many walks of life, who have chosen Collingwood as their home. We are also fortunate to have an amazing leasing team with lots of heart for what they do; and we’d like to introduce them to you. Here we go… Melissa Scott — Property Manager Favorite Quote: “Life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it.” Fun Fact: I love science fiction movies! Beam me up, Scottie! Personal Interests: Being outdoors, being in nature. Cooking and eating! Favorite thing about being on The Collingwood Team: We like to work hard, have fun and do our very best. Aida Sigler — Assistant Manager Favorite Quote: “Live the life you love and love the life you live.” Fun Fact: When you get enough sleep your brain cells have time to regenerate so you can function better. Personal Interests: Dancing, travel, learning about other cultures and races. Reading, spending time with family and friends. Favorite thing about being on The Collingwood Team: Great office team, maintenance team and great work environment. Gene Pereira — Maintenance Director Favorite Quote: “Another flaw in the human character is that everyone wants to build but nobody wants to do maintenance.” Fun Fact: Heart attacks are more likely to happen on Mondays. Personal Interests: Family First, everything else second. Favorite thing about being on The Collingwood Team: I am with family. Personal Interests: Family and education always take the highest precedent, but I also enjoy hiking, kayaking, going to museums, or going to car shows. Favorite thing about being on The Collingwood Team: There is an integrity based work ethic throughout the team that promotes assisting each resident and/or guest to our fullest potential.
