October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

When it comes to the month of October, we know what to expect; the fall season, changing leaves, crisp temperatures, football, and trick or treat; but it’s also known for something super important to everyone — it’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month and a reminder to get a mammogram. We’ve all been touched by knowing someone who has, or has had, breast cancer, so we know that awareness is power. This month Collingwood Apartments has plans to support Breast Cancer awareness, and has a host of things planned to will remind residents to get involved in the personal advocacy and importance of self-checks and mammograms. They’ve also identified some of the many ways to get involved in Breast Cancer Awareness month throughout the Atlanta Metro. Here’s two great American Cancer Society walk/runs you, friends and family may want to think about supporting this month.
